This quiet, protected inlet offers scenic walking paths that hug the shoreline, where the scent of lavender and wild rosemary mingles with the sea air and every step reveals a new vista of sparkling blue water and rugged coastline.
Wander along the gentle trails that weave through this tranquil bay - perfect for morning strolls, sunset walks as well as adventure. This upper-level living space, nestled in the oldest part of the villa dating back over 400 years, has been lovingly restored and reimagined. What was once a centuries old stone fisherman's house, is now a serene, light filled retreat featuring a fully equipped dine-in kitchen, a spacious dining room, a cozy living room, a primary bedroom, a bathroom, laundry, and a charming loft offering additional accommodations.
Two private terraces provide breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea - perfect for morning coffee or sunset wine.

Accessible via an exterior stone staircase from the main level, The Salt Cove feels like its own secluded retreat.
Named for the fine sea salt that naturally collects on the surrounding stones, this space embraces the healing spirit Hvar is known for. With the gentle sound of waves and the restorative power of the sea just outside your door, The Salt Cove offers a deeply relaxing and grounding experience for those who seek it.

Dal Mare Villa began as a dream - a seaside escape envisioned by an American engineer living and working abroad, searching for a peaceful seaside retreat with old world historic charm.
Drawn to the beauty and spirit of Croatia, we found this centuries - old stone home perched on the edge of the Adriatic and lovingly transformed it into a place where family, friends and the rhythm of the sea come together.
Originally created as a private family vacation home, Dal Mare Villa has grown into a cherished gathering place full of laughter, meals shared under the sun, and unforgettable moments. Over the years, it has become a haven of joy, rest, and connection for our family - and now, we are honored to share it with you.
