Rental Terms & House Rules

A reservation is only confirmed once payment has been received and acknowledged.

Guests agree to:

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property
Check in after 16:00 and check out at 11:00am
Some pets are allowed with a required pet fee and additional pet damage deposit, email for more details
Quiet hours are 22:00 to 8:00 every day
Maximum occupancy is 10 guests
Limit water use to a minimum as the villa is on a cistern. This means limited short showers, basic washing and flushing toilets. Public water access is scheduled for next year.
Do not sit in the window sills as someone could fall.
Do not clean sports fishing catch on the property
On-site parking provided for one vehicle inside the gates, additional parking can be provided at a short walking distance from the property, please email for more details
Report any damages or issues immediately
Expectations for cleanliness at check out include: collecting trash into provided trash bins, washing all dishes (can be left on drying rack and/or start dishwasher before you leave), remove all clothes from washer/dryer, remove all personal items.
No events of any kind. If you want to host an event on the property, a venue rental fee and local government permits are required. Please email us at thedalmarevilla@gmail.com with event specifics for a quote

Safety & Children

Please note that that Dal Mare Villa is a 400+ year old stone building which has been converted to a modern villa. Part of its historic charm is maintaining its old world feel. Our family has hosted many young children of all ages; however, it is important for parents to understand the risks involved - such as, but not limited to:

steep stone staircases with or without hand rails both inside and outside the unit
large open windows with deep window sills that have only simple screens. There is the potential for small children to easily push out the screens and fall at a great height
by renting, you agree to not allow anyone to sit in the window sills
direct access to the sea, immediately outside the door is deep water with a rough stone edge with no safety barriers
water from the taps is from a cistern and may not be suitable for drinking if you are from a country that does not use cisterns. We recommend that you drink bottled water.

Bookings & Terms

To book a property, you must provide accurate information including your name, contact details, and payment information. Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A reservation is only confirmed once payment has been received and acknowledged.

Treat the property with care and respect
Check in after 16:00 and check out at 11:00
Follow house rules (provided at the time of booking or check-in)
Report any damages or issues immediately
Leave the property in the same condition as when entered

Temporary unavailability of the website
Issues arising from third-party services

To the fullest extent permitted by Croatian and EU law, we exclude liability for direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage incurred by users.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Croatian courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of the website indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
